Execution of the task
If the employee in the task is the task setter, the Mark as completed action will be available. After that, the task acquires the status of Completed.

If the author is another employee, then the responsible person will be able to act on the Send for review task, supplementing it with the appropriate information. After performing this action, the task will acquire the status Ready for review. The approver must consider the result of the task: accept or reject it. In the task feed, the Reporter and the Responsible person will have appropriate options for action.

The task reporter can execute the Request status action if the task is in the In progress status. This event is essentially a notification to the person in charge, but it takes just a few clicks to complete.

Overdue task notification
The system will automatically notify the responsible person and the task creator of each overdue task. Such a notification is generated only for tasks in which the responsible person and the task reporter are different positions.

Postponement of the deadline
If more time is needed to complete a task, the task responsible can request an extension the due date from the task reporter, adding appropriate arguments to the request.

After performing this action, the task will acquire the status of Changing of deadline. The Reporter has to consider the request: accept, refuse, or set another deadline. In the task feed, the Reporter and the Responsible person will have appropriate options for action.

Executing tasks on time is a necessary element in modern business communication. Request an extension the due date is just as much a part of the task management process as the actual task itself. A request from the person in charge to request an extension the due date demonstrates that they are interested in completing the task.
On the contrary, the lack of action on a task when it becomes overdue, even if the responsible person has nothing to report on it, demonstrates their disregard for the task, lack of time management skills, and neglect of communication with the director.
